DMCA Policy
How rights holders can report content, and how we handle copyright notices and counter-notices.
In short
- We respect intellectual property and act on valid notices.
- Send notices by email with the details listed below.
- We remove or disable access to reported material promptly once a notice is complete.
- Accounts of repeat infringers are terminated.
Our policy
Trex IPTV responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws in other countries. Rights holders anywhere in the world can use this procedure.
How to send a notice
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Copyright notice” and include:
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- Enough information to identify the material, such as the channel or title name and the date and time it was available.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do next
When we receive a complete notice, we review it, remove or disable access to the material identified, and confirm to you what was done. Incomplete notices may delay action, so please include every element above.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and your signature.
Repeat infringers
Customers who repeatedly misuse the service to infringe copyright — for example by recording and redistributing content — will have their accounts terminated.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, please seek legal advice first.
